Tea is prominent in Korean culture. Korean teas taste beautiful, but also contain medicinal properties and give health benefits. While green tea is often considered one of the premier Korean teas, there are also fruit teas, flower teas, root teas and just so so many more.
Try this easy morning matcha latte and it will be the best caffeine substitute for coffee or a nespresso.

mein40 Matcha Latte Recipe
Here are the ingredients with the quantities:
In the mixer I add:
- 1 tsp of matcha green tea powder
- 2 tablespoons (or 12 grams) of collagen powder
- 1/2 teaspoon or less of ashwagandha root powder
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 2 tablespoons of protein powder (optional) Note: If you have any kidney or liver issues, best to consult a doctor about the protein powder.
- 1/2 cup of milk (unsweetened almond milk helps keep the calories, carbs and sugar lower)
- 1.5 cups of warm water (or less if you like it richer)
